Around Princeton, good coaches book up before each season, so ask about waiting lists and package rates rather than single lessons. Group clinics are the cheapest way for an adult beginner to get regular court time and a set of practice partners, and many programs across New Jersey sort players by NTRP level so matches stay competitive. League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.

Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Princeton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Stopped by Princeton Stadium while visiting campus, and it was definitely worth checking out. The stadium is clean, well-maintained, and has a classic college football feel. Even without a game going on, it was fun to walk around and take in the atmosphere. Itβs easy to see how exciting it would be on game day, and the stadium fits perfectly with the beautiful Princeton campus. If youβre touring the university or just enjoy visiting college sports venues, Iβd recommend making a quick stop here. Glad I took the time to check it out!

Awesome Ivy League venue with a lot of unique NCAA history. Intimate in size and maintained with excellence.

To a person used to college football games with 92,000 rabid screaming fans, Princeton's stadium is downright genteel. Everyone is polite and well-mannered. The staff are cordial and ready to answer any questions. There's usually plenty of room (but not on the 50-yard line section). The only drawback is the concession has a limited menu to offer.

Oversized for the usual audience but what a nice stadium. It's always open so can have a peak inside!

Typical college stadium, getting a bit long in the tooth though. Track field adjacent to the stadium with ample opportunity for low or high impact exercise. The track has a nice, vintage feel to it, while the stadium just seems a bit worn. But the important thing is not the stadium, but whatβs happening inside the stadium, right? Massive construction going on all around the stadium makes navigating the area a bit tricky but itβs a beautiful campus for a walk so park where you can and take a stroll.
